North Macedonia - N-CoMRa

The European Policy Institute – Skopje (EPI), as the coordinator of the regional project “Monitoring Reforms and Growth in the Western Balkans,” implemented in partnership with partners from the Think for Europe Network (TEN), invites all interested civil society organizations (CSOs), chambers of commerce, social partners, the academic community, and other stakeholders in North Macedonia to express their interest in participating in the National Consultation Mechanism for the Reform Agenda 2024-2027 (N-CoMRa).

What is N-CoMRa? N-CoMRa is a national consultative platform that enables structured, inclusive, and evidence-based dialogue between public institutions, CSOs, chambers of commerce, the academic community, and other stakeholders regarding the implementation and monitoring of the Reform Agenda 2024-2027 in North Macedonia within the framework of the European Union’s Reform and Growth Facility for the Western Balkans.

The platform is coordinated by EPI and supported by the Ministry of European Affairs—the institution coordinating all activities related to the implementation of the Reform Agenda in the country—based on a signed Memorandum of Cooperation. The goal is to ensure structured dialogue and transparency, in accordance with the European Commission’s emphasis on involving civil society organizations in reform processes.

Who can join the N-CoMRa? NCM-RA is a platform open to all non-governmental stakeholders with experience or interest in monitoring the Growth Plan, the Reform Agenda, and/or EU integration processes. Participants in the consultation mechanism are expected to make a constructive contribution and respect the principles of inclusivity, transparency, and evidence-based dialogue.

Why join the N-CoMRa? N-CoMRa provides a space for constructive cooperation between state bodies and other stakeholders, enabling members to contribute to evidence-based monitoring and discussions on reforms, as well as to influence the implementation of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.

Specifically, the platform will:

  • Enable consultations based on data and monitoring tools;

  • Encourage cross-sectoral cooperation between different levels of governance;

  • Offer opportunities for capacity building and advocacy support;

  • Promote transparency and accountability by publishing meeting reports and feedback from stakeholders.
